Rules & Regulations
Online Registration
Please provide the following details for your team members: Name, NRIC, Gender, Contact Number, and Email Address, along with the Team Captain's name, and most importantly, your Team Name.
Kindly ensure that the team name does not exceed 20 characters, as this is the maximum length allowed for printing on the race bib.
Additionally, you must present the “Confirmation Slip” to collect your race entry pack or batons on the event day.
The event is open to all Malaysian citizens, Malaysian Permanent Residents (PR), and international participants who are 7 years old and above.
Age will be calculated as of 31 December 2026.
Qualifying age for the Mixed Veteran & Student category is as follows:
(i) males – age 40 and above
(ii) females - age 35 and above
(iii) students – age 17 and below
For race day, participants must wear their race bib at the front, pinned securely and prominently as high as possible using safety pins. Ensure that your race bib remains visible at all times.
Tampering with the race bib in any way (e.g., covering or removing sponsor logos) will lead to disqualification. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant without prior notice or explanation.
The race course will remain open to the public on event day and will not be fully closed.
Participants are not permitted to use pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers, or any other wheeled objects on the course.
No substitutions of participants are allowed before or during the race without prior written consent and approval from the Organizer. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification.
Event T-shirts
Unisex Sizes Specification in Inches.

Please review the size chart carefully and choose your sizes accurately to prevent any sizing issues. No exchanges will be entertained once your registration is confirmed.
Timing Chip / Baton
Only the Team Captain is allowed to collect the baton, which must be returned to the designated race officials on the event day.
Failure to collect or return the baton will result in automatic disqualification. If a runner loses the baton and fails to return it, the Organizer reserves the right to charge the participants for the associated costs.
Finisher Medal
Finisher medals will be awarded to each team upon completing the run and returning the baton or timing chip.
Registered participants or teams who do not show up on race day will be automatically disqualified and will not be eligible to receive finisher medals.
Podium Winner
Trophies will be awarded to:
- Top 5 teams in the Men’s Open category
- Top 5 teams in the Mixed Open category
- Top 5 teams in the Mixed Veteran category
- Top 5 teams in the Women’s Open category
- Top 5 teams in the Student’s category
The prize-giving ceremony will begin at 9:30 AM.
Best Dress Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 best-dressed teams (with a minimum of 5 members per team).
The results will be announced during the prize-giving ceremony.
Fastest Male & Female Awards
Special gifts will be awarded to the fastest male and female participants based on their fastest lap times recorded by the official timing device.
The results will be announced during the prize-giving ceremony.
(Breakfast & Refreshment Station)
A refreshment station will be available near the starting point, offering isotonic drinks and mineral water for all runners. Food and light refreshments will be served after the race.
In order to keep the park clean, littering is strictly prohibited. Please dispose all rubbish into the garbage bags provided to facilitate the cleaning up process.

Parking
Ample parking is available along Padang Merbok roads, and it’s free of charge. Here are the parking options:
- Padang Merbok, near JKR road side: Free parking available
- Lake Garden Kuala Lumpur : Free parking available
- Bukit Aman Multi Storey Car Park: 500 meters from the venue (alternative parking)
Please note that parking is strictly prohibited inside Padang Merbok area.
You are advised to arrive early at the venue.
You are also encouraged to car pool with your team members.
Please do not park your car indiscriminately.We recommend arriving early at the venue. You are also encouraged to carpool with your team members. Please refrain from parking your car haphazardly.
Public Toilet
Public toilet facilities will open at 6:00 AM. Additionally, the Organizer has provided mobile toilets for all runners, and there will be no charge for using them.
Check Points
Checkpoints will be set up along the route to ensure fair competition for all participants. Road marshals will be stationed at key locations to guide everyone along the correct path and prioritize the safety of all runners.
Collection of Baton
Attention Team Captains!
Batons will be distributed on race day starting at 6:00 AM. All team captains must collect their batons by 7:00 AM or 30 minutes before the flag-off. Latecomers will be disqualified from the race without notice, so don’t be late!
Please be advised that there will be no baton distribution after 7:00 AM.
The event will start at 7:30 AM. Participants who do not have a baton will be disqualified.
Race Entry Pack Collection
Date : 24th May 2026, Sunday
Venue : Kuala Lumpur (TBC)
Time : 12.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.
Late collection will not be allowed, and PAR2026 is not responsible for any issues caused by participants not collecting their race bibs. PAR2026 will not extend the collection period or ensure that participants receive their bibs.
It is the participant's responsibility to collect their bib on time. Any bibs not collected during race pack collection will be considered unwanted and may be disposed of or redistributed accordingly.

3) Please note that Race Entry Packs will not be issued on event day.
4) Outstation may make prior arrangements for collection on Event day.
Pacer
Pacers can accompany participants during the event but are not allowed in the transition zone. They may start pacing after 200 meters from the starting line and must stop when participants reach the transition zone after completing their lap.
Children participating in the event must always be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The organizer will not be responsible for any incidents that occur due to non-compliance with these rules.
Safety
Participants enter PAR2026 at their own risk and are responsible for their safety. PAR2026, its event sponsors and co-sponsors are not liable for any injuries or deaths that occur during training for or participation in the event. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult their doctor about their health before registering and before race day.
If any official medical staff, race director, or race officer requires a participant to retire from the race, they must do so immediately.
Please note that the race course will remain open to the public on event day.
Thunderstorm Scenario
Scenario 1:
1. The original flag-off time was postponed by up to one hour.
2. All subsequent programs will be adjusted according to the delay.
Scenario 2:
1. The thunderstorm begins after the flag-off.
2. The event is cancelled; participants will be notified to return to the venue.
3. Food, drinks, and medals will be distributed.
Scenario 3:
1. The thunderstorm continues for more than one hour.
2. The event is cancelled; participants will be notified.
3. Food, drinks, and medals will be distributed.
Waiver Clause
While the organizer will take all reasonable precautions to ensure participants' safety, participants enter the race at their own risk. The organizer will not be responsible or liable for any injuries or deaths that occur during training for or participation in the race.
